Maria Goreti Ferreira Sales MD

Goreti Sales has a 6-year degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, developing scientific activities in the field of nanotechnology, biosensing and materials. She is Adjunct Professor in the School of Engineering of the Polytechnique School of Porto and coordinates the research group BioMark (http://www.biomark.isep.ipp.pt). She runs the Starting Grant 3Ps of the European Research Council, since February 2013, with the purpose of developing fully autonomous devices to monitor cancer biomarkers, by merging Plastic Antibodies, Photovoltaics and Plasmonics. She has an h-index of 20 (Scopus, author ID 7005174717), for 110 indexed publications, with 1152 citations.
