Maria Alfieris PT

Maria graduated from NYU in 1985 and has been practicing for 31 years. Maria was the founder and original owner of Range of Motion Physical Therapy for 28 years, thus making a life decision to sell to Sean Waters, who graciously continues to have Range of Motion Physical Therapy practice with the original intention, which was “hands-on” quality care. Maria studied cranio-sacral, myofascial release, and visceral mobilization for over 25 years, as well as studying the body-mind complex.
Together, Maria integrated the two specialities to treat the whole person from a whole perspective. Maria’s primary modality is “hands-on” treatment of the fascia. Maria also teaches a course to other physical therapists in the state of New Jersey for 14 CEUs, with the emphasis on “hands-on” fascia work. Maria loves to use manual stretching, yoga therapy, and manual strenghtening to round out complete care so each client can reach their full potential. When not working Maria thoroughly enjoys the beach, hiking, biking, skiing, and traveling all over the world.
