Mari Suominen PhD

Dr. Mari Suominen joined Pharmatest in 2005. As a Study Director, she is in charge of customer projects and new model development projects of the cancer field. Previously, she has worked at bone biology department at Schering (currently Bayer), where her responsibility was setting up new models of cancer and skeletal diseases. In her Ph.D. work, she studied various therapeutic approaches in experimental mouse models of breast and prostate cancer bone metastasis, including radium-223 (Xofigo). Her whole career has focused on the interaction of bone microenvironment and cancer, and particularly on the development of new therapeutics to treat skeletal metastases.
