Margot Pont PhD

Margot Pont is a translational scientist and biotechnology leader specializing in cell and gene therapy development. She currently serves as Vice President of Translational Development at Integra Therapeutics, where she leads translational strategies aimed at advancing innovative genetic medicines from preclinical research into clinical application.

Before joining Integra Therapeutics, Pont held several leadership roles at Galapagos and CellPoint, where she served as Head of Translational Sciences and Director of Translational Sciences. In these roles, she contributed to the development of next-generation cell therapies and translational platforms designed to improve precision medicine approaches in oncology and immunotherapy. Her expertise spans translational biology, biomarker development, clinical strategy, and the integration of preclinical and clinical research programs.

Pont earned both her MSc and PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Leiden University. During her academic training, she developed a strong foundation in biomedical and translational research while also demonstrating leadership in scientific and student organizations. Her work continues to focus on bridging scientific discovery with therapeutic innovation to accelerate the development of transformative treatments for patients.
