Dr. M. Daniele Fallin holds a joint appointment in medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is the Sylvia and Harold Halpert Professor and chair of the Department of Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she holds joint appointments in biostatistics and genetic epidemiology.
An internationally recognized expert in aging and neuropsychiatric disorders, Dr. Fallin is the director of the Wendy Klag Center for Autism & Developmental Disabilities. She serves on the faculty of the Center for Global Health, Center for Mental Health Initiatives, and Center for Epigenetics.
She earned her Ph.D. in genetic epidemiology from Case Western Reserve University. She also holds a B.S. from the University of Florida, Gainesville. Dr. Fallin joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2000.
