Marcus Davey, PhD, is a consultant at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Davey earned his BS (Honors) at the Monash School of Medicine in Melbourne, Australia, completing his honors thesis on respiratory control following preterm birth. He received his PhD from the Department of Physiology at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. During his doctoral studies, he established a neonatal pulmonary function laboratory to evaluate prenatal therapies for human diseases, including severe lung hypoplasia and prematurity of birth. In 1998, Dr. Davey was the recipient of the PSANZ Young Investigator Award.
