Marco Pane MD

Marco Pane holds a Master’s degree in microbiology and began his career as a researcher at Biolab laboratory in Novara (R&D Probiotical unit), Italy, where he focused on research for the dietary probiotic supplement industry. At Probiotical he manages a team of 10 scientists and he works with external innovation partners to drive new probiotic product development including industrial development and clinical research. He supports worldwide sales in terms of technical and scientific training. He is a regular commentator on the technology, efficacy, and consumer benefits of (probiotic supplementation also intended as) "bacteriotherapy". He is a part of the International Probiotic Association (IPA) Scientific Committee and Pharmabiotic Research Institute (PRI), Expert Panel on Probiotics at the US Pharmacopoeia, and National expert of IDF Standing Committee on Analytical Methods for Dairy Microorganisms.
