Marco Leonetti is a physicist with a strong research background (theoretical and experimental) in optical techniques, adaptive optics, wavefront shaping, optical instruments (laser, cameras, sensors, and spectrographs), and extensive experience in experiment design and realization. In just a few years, he has become an independent researcher: he has published 31 papers, 18 of which were as first author and 5 as last author. He is currently the Project Leader of the project "LOCALITIS" (360K EUR over four years @CNR Nanotec Lecce) and of the project "Ophthalmoscope for Alzheimer Early Detection in Retina" (330K EUR over 3 years with CREST optics company) in the framework of the IIT-Crest optics company Joint Lab.
