Dr. Marcin Kortylewski, Ph.D., is a Professor of Immuno-Oncology in the Beckman Research Institute at City of Hope NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center (Duarte, CA). His group focuses on the development of cancer immunotherapies using original myeloid cell-selective oligonucleotide strategies to target transcriptional and epigenetic master regulators. Research from his laboratory has earned notable funding from major federal and private sources, including the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute, the Department of Defense, and the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Dr. Kortylewski is a member of scientific advisory boards at Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society, American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy, and two biotech companies, a section editor at Molecular Therapy Nucleic Acids journal (Cell Press), and an inventor on over 20 patents or patent applications.
