Marcelo Gazzana MD, MSc, PhD

Marcelo Basso Gazzana holds a degree in the Faculty of Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1994), a medical residency in Internal Medicine (1997), a medical residency in Pneumology (2000), Master's degree in Pneumological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2006) and Ph.D. in Pneumatological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2015). He holds a specialist title from the Brazilian Society of Pneumology and Phthisiology, in Respiratory Endoscopy from the Brazilian Society of Peroral Endoscopy, and in Intensive Care Medicine from the Brazilian Association of Intensive Medicine. He is currently a contracted physician and preceptor of the residency in pulmonology at the Pulmonology Service of Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre. and head of the Department of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery at Hospital Moinhos de Vento.
