Marcella Debidda BS, PhD

Dr Marcella Debidda is a molecular oncologist who later in her career fell in love with clinical research. Dr Debidda worked at Harvard Clinical Research Institute where she led the Clinical Trial Innovation Department and then moved to Science 37, where she was the Vice President of Patient Affairs. Dr Debidda is currently the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for Stanford Medicine X; she is part of the Advisory Board for CRAACO 2018 and she is a tireless advocate for Clinical Research As A Care Option.

As a creative builder and change agent, Dr Debidda’s mission is to promote a human centered healthcare system, built on empathy and radical collaboration where each patient is recognized and treated as an individual with unique experiences, hopes and expectations; where each patient is respected for the expertise that they can bring to the table, is empowered, engaged and has a voice in their own care.
