Marcella Burghard BHS, MSc

Marcella completed her physiotherapy training at the HU, she followed the (pre-)master Human Movement Sciences at the VU in Amsterdam. From here her interest in exercise physiology grew and she was eventually able to gain experience at the WKZ. From the children's exercise center she started to delve into clinical exercise physiology in children and scientific research. For this, she tests the physical fitness of children with cancer, before, during and after their treatment for the Princess Maxima Center. Together with the pediatric physiotherapist, we try to give the best possible advice to optimize physical fitness and physical activity.
