Marc W. Heft DMD., PhD

Dr. Marc W. Heft, D.M.D., Ph.D., a professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery with joint appointments as professor of neuroscience and professor of clinical & health psychology, is president of the American Association for Dental Research. Heft will serve as the 36th president of the AADR during his 2007-2008 term, which began at the conclusion of the March AADR annual meeting held in New Orleans, La. As AADR president, Hefts responsibilities include representing the AADR at national meetings, presiding over board and council meetings, establishing task forces on issues of interest to the AADR, and promoting the mission of the association.
