Marc Vuylsteke MD, PhD

Dr. Marc Vuylsteke is a Vascular Surgeon at Sint-Andries Hospital Tielt. He received a medical degree from the KULeuven. His research interests are Vascular surgery, Phlebology, Laser-Tissue Interactions, and Epidemiology.

Dr. Marc Vuylsteke is passionate about blood vessels. That is why he conducts extensive and extensive research into the pathology of blood vessels. That research has already resulted in dozens of publications in renowned international journals. 

In addition, dr. Vuylsteke pioneered the endovenous laser treatment of varicose veins. In 2012 he successfully defended his PhD, 'Endovenous Laser Ablation' at the University of Leuven. This earned him the title of 'Doctor in Biomedical Science.'

In addition to the general treatment of vascular disorders, Dr. Vuylsteke also has a special interest in the treatment of deep venous pathology.
