Marc Steben MD

Dr. Marc Steben is a family physician. He works at the National Public Health Institute of Quebec in the sexually transmitted infections (STIs) unit. He chairs the Quebec committee on STIs and is a member of the STIs laboratory analyzes committee. He is the Medical Director of Clinique A, a clinic specializing in the multidisciplinary approach to sexual health.

He was a researcher in the international team that studied the efficacy and safety of the quadrivalent vaccine against the human papillomavirus (HPV) and a member of the team of publications and the global advisory board. He is also a member of the expert group and lead author of the chapters on HPV, genital herpes and genital ulcers for the Lignes directrices canadiennes pour les infections transmises sexuellement.
