Marc Peter Sakwa MD

Marc Sakwa, M.D. is chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and system physician leader of Beaumont Health System's Heart and Vascular Center of Excellence. He is a professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Dr. Sakwa received his bachelor's degree from Brown University in Rhode Island and his medical degree from Columbia University in New York. He completed his internship and residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard University Medical School in Boston. He also completed a two-year residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery at New York University Medical Center.
