Marc L. Busch (Ph.D., Columbia) is the Karl F. Landegger Professor of International Business Diplomacy at the School of Foreign Service, Professor of Government and Professor of Business Administration at Georgetown University. He is an expert on international trade policy and law, international business and non-market strategy.

He also serves as a member of the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Standards and Technical Trade Barriers (ITAC 16), reporting to the Department of Commerce and the United States Trade Representative.

He has presented his research at universities across North America and Europe, and has been invited to address many government agencies and international institutions, including the the Advisory Centre on WTO Law, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, the United Nations, the World Bank, and the Trade Law Division of the Department of International Trade Canada, on whose behalf he addressed a NAFTA Article 2022 dispute settlement panel. He has also consulted to a wide variety of companies on trade policy and law, and non-market strategy.

He has won teaching awards at Georgetown, Queen's and Harvard, including the Frank Knox Teaching Excellence Award for best undergraduate professor at Queen’s University. In 2010, Forbes Magazine named his class one of the Top 10 Most Innovative MBA Courses in the United States.
