Professor Marc Gewillig is Paediatric cardiologist at the University of Leuven, Belgium. He is an author of more than 320 articles in peer-reviewed journals and wrote several chapters on paediatric cardiology. He has been invited a speaker on several topics in all continents.
Since his thesis on the Fontan circulation in 1991, he maintained a special interest in the physiology and treatment of complications of this complex circuit. He was a co-founder of the European Working group on Interventional Cardiology (AEPC) and is currently proctor/instructor in Europe.
