Marc Beaumont Roscher MD, PhD, MBCbB, MMED, DERM

Dr Röscher qualified in Medicine at the University of Pretoria 1992. Post Graduate specialist training in Dermatology was also completed at the University of Pretoria 2000. Doctor Röscher completed post graduate masters training courses in Dermatological Surgery (University of Newcastle,UK) and Photodynamic Therapy (Nashville, Tennesee, USA) Dr Röscher has been practicing at the Umhlanga Skin Centre Specialist Laser Clinic since 2000. His special interests include cancer and reconstructive skin surgery , laser surgery and procedural dermatology. He was founder chairperson of the KZN IPA for the 2 years since its inception. Dr Röscher is currently Director Dermatological Surgery, Dept Dermatology, Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine, Durban where he teaches dermatological surgery. Dr Röscher serves on two international congress faculty boards (IMCAS, ISDS) and lectures annually at international conferences. Dr Röscher is currently President of the South African Society for Dermatological Surgery and is the Editor in chief of the SA Journal For Dermatological Surgery.
