Marat Khaikin is a Chief of Colorectal Surgery at Sheba - Tel Ha Shomer Hospital. Dr. Marat Khaikin was the first surgeon in Israel to perform laparoscopic colon and stomach resections through the vagina without an abdominal incision, laparoscopic colon and rectal resections through a single umbilical incision (SILS), and rectal tumor excision through the anus (TAMIS technique), robotic single incision sigmoid colectomy, resection of the rectum with cancer using transanal robotic (DaVinci) taTME technique, transanal robotic rectal polyps and tumor excision (transanal robotic TAMIS technique).
