Dr. Karamitopoulos is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the care of babies, children, and adolescents. She treats a variety of pediatric orthopaedic conditions including fractures and injuries, hip dysplasia, leg length discrepancy, and cerebral palsy. A Yale graduate, she received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College.
She completed her residency at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and her fellowship at the Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Karamitopoulos is actively involved in research, has authored numerous publications, and has presented nationally and internationally. She treats patients at the Center for Children at NYU Langone Medical Center's Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City.
