Manuel F. Mas, M.D. is a board-certified Brain Injury Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist. He received his medical degree in 2011 at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine in 2015. He completed a fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at the University of Houston Health Sciences in Houston, Texas in July 2015. He later on joined TIRR Memorial Hermann as an assistant professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at UTHealth Medical School.

There, he worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with particular interests in stroke rehabilitation, spasticity management, and concussion patient treatment. He was the medical director of the TIRR Memorial Hermann Concussion Program until 2018 when he returned to Puerto Rico to continue serving patients suffering from brain injury. He is currently an adjunct assistant professor at both the University of Puerto Rico and the University of Texas at Houston.
