Manouk J. W. Van Mourik

Dr. Manouk J. W. Van Mourik completed her medical studies in 2016 at Maastricht University. She subsequently worked as a physician assistant at the Cardiology department at the Zuyderland hospital, location Sittard-Geleen. In July 2017 she started her Ph.D. research in the field of atrial fibrillation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. H. Crijns within the Cardiology department of Maastricht UMC+. Her research focuses on the possibilities of non-invasive imaging in patients with (future) atrial fibrillation. In addition to her research activities, she also treats patients at the atrial fibrillation consultation hour at Maastricht UMC+, a specialized outpatient clinic for patients with this common arrhythmia.
