Manjula Balasubramanian works at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA which is one of the busiest hospitals for liver and kidney transplant in the region. . She completed her medical schooling at Bangalore Medical College , residency in Anatomic and Clinical pathology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania , fellowship in Hematopathology at Einstein Medical center. She has been in practice for more than 25 years with more than 10 year experience in transplant pathology interpreting kidney, liver and heart transplant biopsies.In addition to the transplant service, she is Chief of Clinical Pathology and directs the transfusion service . She is President elect of the Pennsylvania Association of Pathology and is a member of the House of delegats of the College of American Pathologists.
