Manish Kohli MD, MPH, MBA, FHIMSS, FAAFP

Manish Kohli is a visionary physician leader with a proven track record in pioneering healthcare initiatives both in the US and globally. With 25 years of rich experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his leadership roles. Dr. Kohli is passionate about transforming health and care through data, technology, and digital innovation. He is recognized as a global thought leader in digital health and complex healthcare advancements, with extensive experience in various healthcare settings, focusing on leveraging health information technology to advance health and care. Driven by his vision to improve health equity through digitally enabled healthcare transformation, Dr. Kohli founded the non-profit organization Pul Alliance for Digital Health and Equity. This organization empowers grassroots organizations by enhancing their capacity and capability for care transformation on the frontlines.

He is also the CEO and Founder of Beyond Horizon Health, a global digital health advisory and consulting firm, Dr. Kohli leads efforts to drive innovation in healthcare. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Advisor at Albright Stonebridge Group, where he advises on strategic digital health and care delivery initiatives in the US and globally, aiming to optimize costs and achieve the quadruple aim. Dr. Kohli also advises domestic and international health technology startups, helping to bring impactful, novel solutions to the bedside. Throughout his career, Dr. Kohli has collaborated with healthcare organizations and stakeholders worldwide in areas such as digital maturity, innovation, strategy, governance, change management, and workforce development. He has served as Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at leading health systems, including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD), Partners Harvard Medical International/Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), Advocate Aurora Health, and Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Kohli is a Fellow and past Chairman of the Board of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a member of the Standards Advisory Panel at Joint Commission International (JCI), where he lends his expertise in healthcare technology standards development. Dr. Kohli is dually board-certified in Clinical Informatics and Family Medicine. He earned his MD degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and holds an MPH in International Health and an MBA in Medical Services Management from Johns Hopkins University. He completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine at Rush University and Preventive Medicine at Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University.
