Dr Mandy Hobbs graduated 30 years ago as a physiotherapist. She worked in Melbourne until 1999 in the public health sector and private practice. Since moving to Albury, she has worked at Healthfocus Physiotherapy, initially as a senior physiotherapist and hospital physiotherapy manager at the Albury Wodonga Private. She completed a Masters in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy at CSU in 2004 and a PhD in Physiotherapy at Sydney University in 2011, researching rehabilitation directions following lumbar disc replacement and fusion.

As a Director of Healthfocus, she continues to be actively involved in the physiotherapy service provided to the AWPH and understands the important role that physiotherapists and nursing staff provide post-surgery.
