Malena Cohen-cymberknoh MD

Malena Cohen-Cymberknoh, M.D, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 2000 and immigrated as a medical doctor to Israel at the same year. She is married and a mother of four children, and lives in Mevaseret Zion.

Dr. Cohen-Cymberknoh did her residency in Pediatrics and was a chief resident at the Dept. of Pediatrics at Hadassah-Medical Center, Mount Scopus in Jerusalem, finished her final examination with outstanding honors. She did her fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Hadassah Medical Center, concluding the specialization on 2010. Since then she has worked as a senior physician in the Pediatric Department and in the Center for Chronic Diseases in Childhood at Hadassah. Additionally, since 2012, she is a Senior Lecturer and a committee member at the Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem. She is the responsible for Pediatrics for 6th year medical students, and a thesis supervisor for MD degree students at the Hebrew University Medical School. Additionally, since 2013, she is a committee member of the Israeli Society for Pediatric Pulmonology.
