Maksim Parfyonov MD

Dr. Maksim Parfyonov, MD, is a board-certified neurologist specializing in pediatric epilepsy and epilepsy at Cleveland Clinic. He provides comprehensive care for children and adolescents with epilepsy and other seizure disorders, with expertise in the evaluation and management of complex epilepsy, advanced electroencephalography (EEG), and neurophysiological testing. Dr. Parfyonov is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care through a multidisciplinary approach that supports patients and their families.

Dr. Parfyonov earned his medical degree from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology and Neuroscience at Simon Fraser University. He completed his pediatric neurology residency at the University of British Columbia, followed by fellowships in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at Cleveland Clinic. He joined the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2024.
