Majken Sonderholm PhD

Majken Sonderholm is a Biologist with a master's degree in fungal population genetics (at a Danish Winfield) from 2008, followed by 10 years of practical experience with laboratory work, including a Ph.D. in microbiology (2017), with special emphasis on biofilm infections, chronic wounds, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and the physical attributes of antibiotic tolerance in bacteria, which has led to several publications. She thrives with interdisciplinary collaboration, immersing herself in new subjects of interest and finding solutions, but also enjoys working independently.

Through previous employments, She has gained experience with molecular microbiology, microbiology, genetics, and the development and implementation of diagnostic real-time PCR methods for rutine laboratory, and I am currently enjoying facing new challenges as a product manager at Triolab, with responsibility for the molecular microbiology segment. She has a social and positive personality and contributes to a cheerful and good mood at the workplace.
