Dr. Hajifaraji has completed his Ph.D. in nutrition from KCL. He is a Research Associate Prof. and has been Director of National Nutrition and Food Technology Research Institute of Iran and Dean of School of Nutrition and Food Technology at Shahid Beheshti Univ. of Medical Sciences from 2010- 2015 and President of Iranian Nutrition Society (INS) from 2011- 2015. He has 6 published books or chapters, 35 indexed English and 21 Farsi Papers in reputed journals. He has been a member of Academy of Medical Sciences, Iran, A member of National Board for Nutrition, Head of National Clinical Nutrition Knowledge and guidelines, Ministry of Health, Head, WHO- Collaborating Centre for Nutrition Training and Research & WHO-EMRO regional advisor from 2012 and the Editor-in-Chief of JNSFT, NNFTRI from 2010.
