Maia Jikia MD, PhD

Maia Jikia earned a B.S. degree in Dentistry with distinction from Tbilisi Medical Academy in 2001 and her Ph.D. in 2006 "The Mechanisms of blood supply of Oral cavity and nose mucus". Roses to the rank of associate and then full Professor in 2002-2019, served as Head in 2003-2019. Many years of experience in creating and practicing practical, scientific work, counseling and training in human resource management, organizational development, leadership, and general management. The organizer of many international conferences and meetings in Georgia. Now she's become the Head of Scientific Research Division, Dentistry Department, School of Health Sciences The University of Georgia. Her research interests have ranged is the Oral Science, Nanotechnology in Dentistry.
