Maggie P. Y. Lam PhD

Maggie is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Maggie completed her Bachelor's degree in biology (hon.) and computer science (min.) at the University of Waterloo, Canada; her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Hong Kong; and her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the NHLBI Proteomics Center and NIH Big Data to Knowledge Center at the University of California Los Angeles. She is passionate about mass spectrometry and has taken great pleasure in maintaining and operating ABI Voyagers, Sciex single quad, QStars, 4800, Agilent QqQ, Thermo LCQ, and Obitraps over her career. She is always thrilled to utilize MS to understand protein homeostasis and the dynamic processes that govern the human proteome.
