Magdy Abdelhamid

Magdy Abdelhamid is a Professor of cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He is currently the President of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology (EgSC)since March 2018. Dr. Abdelhamid is an interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in the field. He has a special interest in coronary intervention, coronary artery diseases, and heart failure. Prof Abdelhamid had a certificate from Harvard medical school for excellent performance and a successful contribution to the program of heart failure at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, 1999. Prof Abdelhamid is currently the chairman of working group of heart failure (EgSC), Prof Abdelhamid is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and was awarded a Diploma of Fellowship, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (FRCP) of Glasgow on February 2019. Prof Abdelhamid is an Editorial Board Reviewer for the ESC HF journal and EHJ case report.
