Magdy Abdel Hamid MD, FSCAI

Magdy Abdel Hamid is a Professor of cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He is secretary of the scientific committee upgrade for Cardiology, Egyptian Universities Promotion Committees from 2013 till now. In addition, he has been nominated as the secretary of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology on March , 2016. Dr.Abdelhamid is an interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in the field . He has a special interest in coronary interventions ,renal stenting and intracoronary stem cell therapy.

He has performed a series of research in stem cell therapy in patients with post MI and patients with CTO . Prof Abdel Hamid had a certificate from Harvard medical school for excellent performance and successful contribution to the program of heart failure at Brigham and Women’s hospital , 1999.
