Dr. Madhuri Behari is a Consultant in Neurology at Fortis Vasant Kunj. She has completed her MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University, and DM (Neurology) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. She brings to the organization an experience of around 34 years in the field of Neurology, from AIIMS where she developed state of art comprehensive movement disorders specialty with a facility for botulinum toxin therapy and Deep Brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease and dystonia patients. She has several research papers and publications in her assortment._x000D_ She is on the editorial board of several national and international journals. She has been the President of the National Indian Academy of Neurology, and Delhi Neurological Association and is currently serving as the founding President of the Movement Disorders Society of India. She has been awarded the Woman Bio-scientist award by the Government of India and has also received the award for Innovation in Science from the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. She is associated with the International Society of Movement Disorders and Parkinson's disease as Chairperson of the Education Committee and a member of several other committees.
