Madelyn Pearson, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, is Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Services at Brigham Health. She has co-led numerous quality and safety initiatives, including implementing a hospital-wide daily safety huddle and hand hygiene improvement initiative. Pearson also guided the institution’s effort to obtain Magnet designation. She previously held positions as regional senior vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nursing officer at Mount Sinai Health System Downtown Campus in New York and senior vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nursing officer at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
Pearson received her doctorate in nursing practice and master of science in nursing from Rutgers University, her master’s in nursing administration from New York University and her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Certified as a nursing executive advanced, Pearson is a program appraiser for the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program.
