Maala Bhatt BCom, MD, FRCPC, MSc

Dr. Bhatt is a pediatric emergency physician at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Bhatt's area of research expertise is in the safety of emergency department procedural sedation, the diagnostic accuracy of appendicitis and pain management in the emergency department. Dr. Bhatt has written or contributed to peer-reviewed journal articles and abstract presentations on a variety of topics including pediatric sedation, procedural pain, respiratory illnesses, appendicitis and emergency department overcrowding.
