Dr. Alraies earned his medical degree from Aleppo University, Aleppo Syria. After completing an internal medicine residency at St. Vincent Medical Center/ Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, he spent the next five years as a staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. During that time, he served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Learner College of Medicine, where he was involved in teaching and clinical research. Dr. Alraies completed his cardiovascular fellowship training at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, where he also received a Master’s of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Dr. Alraies completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at the Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center and stayed.

Dr. Alraies has spoken at many major national meetings, workshops, symposiums, and conferences about the management of coronary interventions, cardiogenic shock management, and large bore vascular access, as well as digital medical for medical education and social media for medical professionals.
