Lynette Bear DNP, CRNA, MBA

In her position as Vice President, Clinical Operations, Lynette will be collaborating with certain client partners, assuming responsibility for the financial and clinical performance of each. Lynette will also have a focus on quality and safety and will continue her clinical practice on a limited basis.

Lynette brings to Somnia more than 20 years of clinical and administrative experience optimizing anesthesia operations, implementing strategic programs, and building successful anesthesia teams across a variety of clinical settings. Prior to joining Somnia, Dr. Bear spent more than 12 years at the Laser Spine Institute, where she served in several roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director of Anesthesia Administration, Senior Director of Corporate Development, Director of Medical Intake, and Senior Nurse Anesthetist.

Dr. Bear will leverage her specialized knowledge of clinical anesthesia with her diverse background in anesthesia management to drive efficiency and innovation and to standardize operations to ensure they align with established corporate and client goals.

Among her professional affiliations are Sigma Theta Tau International–Theta Psi, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists. An experienced speaker and presenter, Lynette has addressed professional and clinical audiences on the topics of Integration of Hypnosis and Music into anesthesia care, the physiological stress of surgery, and other practical anesthesia skills. She is a volunteer with the Board of Counselors at the University of Tampa in Florida and the American Heart Association’s Tampa Bay Circle of Red.
