Dr. Lynae Brayboy is a Reproductive Scientist Development Alumna supported by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development K12. Her K12 research examined how multidrug transporters safeguard the normal mammalian ovary from toxicants and chemotherapeutics. Her new preliminary data show there is a link between oocyte mitochondrial physiology and multidrug resistance transporters. Dr. Brayboy is now supported by the Global Consortium for Reproductive Longevity and Equality Junior Faculty Fellowship Program.

Dr. Brayboy received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, Florida. She graduated with her MD from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. She finished her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in 2014. Dr. Brayboy is also a graduate of the Frontiers in Reproduction Course at Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
