Lutfi Kurban MBBS, MRCP, FRCR

Dr. Lutfi Kurban is a consultant Radiologist trained in the UK and has a wide experience in General Radiology at a consultant level since 2004

He has an interest in body cross sectional imaging including Ultrasound, CT and MRI and he currently holds the position of the head of cross-sectional imaging department in Al Ain hospital.

He is specialized in imaging of the chest, liver, pancreas and Geniturological problems. He also has a special interest in new MRI techniques (multiparametric MRI ) imaging of prostate including cancer detection and MRI fusion biopsy.

Dr. Kurban was involved in a UK consensus paper published in Clinical Radiology Journal in 2013 about MRI imaging of the prostate. He was also involved in a National (UK) Systematic review about the use of multiparametric MRI in detection of prostate cancer in patients with previous negative prostate biopsy.

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Kurban is interested in research and was a principle investigator / co applicant for a few Urological and Chest clinical trials in the UK.
