Lukasz Radoslaw Matusiak is an Adjunct Professor of the Department of Dermatology, Venereology, and Allergology at the Wroclaw Medical University, Poland, a member of the Polish Dermatological Society, a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the member of the European Society for Dermatological Research and the International Society of Dermatology. As an author and co-author, he has published nearly 50 scientific publications, including approximately 30 original papers and case studies, 8 book chapters, and 1 book (on psoriatic arthritis).
Lukasz participated in many national and international scientific conferences (including Spain, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, South Korea, USA, etc.), where he gave more than 50 lectures. Since 2008, he has been a translator of the Polish edition of “Journal Watch Dermatology” and a reviewer of international journals placed on the so-called Philadelphia List (“Acta Dermato-Venereologica”, “Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology”, “Dermatologic Surgery”, etc.). In the same year, he defended his PhD dissertation. The main fields of interest: are hidradenitis suppurativa, dermatological surgery, and the most recent – immunology of inflammatory skin diseases.
