Dr. Lukas Kirchmair, DESA is a consultant in anesthesia and intensive care at the AUVA Trauma Center in Salzburg, Austria. Trained in anesthesia, intensive care, and emergency medicine at the Medical University Innsbruck, Austria. Regional and trauma anesthesia, pain therapy, anatomy, and in particular ultrasound-guided techniques are his major interests. He is also involved in the Salzburg medical emergency system as well as in the Austrian air rescue system.
