Lukas Kairaitis MBBS, PhD, FRACP

Lukas Kairaitis is Head of Renal Medicine at Blacktown Hospital where he practices as a clinical and academic Renal Physician. He has a strong interest in clinical education and is both the Sub Dean of the Blacktown-Mt Druitt Clinical School of the School of Medicine, University of Western Sydney and the local Director of Physician Education. His main clinical interests are in chronic kidney disease, dialysis and hypertension and he has numerous publications in the areas of clinical and experimental kidney disease. In addition to his work in the public sector he undertakes private consulting in Blacktown and is a Visiting Medical Officer at Norwest Private Hospital.
