Luiz Gustavo Madi Antonio

Dr. Luiz Gustavo Madi Antonio is a vascular surgeon with extensive training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular conditions. He earned his medical degree from the University of São Paulo (USP), completed his residency in General Surgery at Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo, and pursued residency training in Peripheral Vascular Surgery at the Instituto de Moléstias Cardiovasculares de São José do Rio Preto. He holds both a Master’s and a Doctorate degree from the University of São Paulo’s Ribeirão Preto Medical School.

Dr. Madi Antonio is board-certified in General Surgery and holds specialist certification in Angiology and Vascular Surgery from the Brazilian Medical Association and the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery. He is a full member of the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery in the United States.

His clinical practice encompasses the management of arterial, venous, lymphatic, and peripheral vascular disorders, including acute and chronic conditions. His areas of care include varicose veins and telangiectasias, venous and arterial thrombosis, vascular conditions associated with diabetes, lipedema, and vascular access procedures for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. He also performs ultrasound-guided venous catheter placement and minimally invasive treatments such as laser therapy and CLaCS for varicose veins and telangiectasias.
