Dr Luis Ruvalcaba graduated from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He is the head of department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center Specialty Hospital Puerta de Hierro, Guadalajara. He was Laparoscopic Surgery Fellow at the University of Kiel, Germany, 1994 and was a Fellow Biology of Reproduction, Assisted Reproductive Technologies in Central Baptis Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky, USA and Chapel Hill North Carolina, 1997. He is visiting fellow Assisted Reproduction and Vitrification in Kato Ladies Clinic, Tokyo, Japan 2004. He is an active member of International Society for Preservation Fertilty.
His notable accomplishments include second pregnancy in Latin America of thawed oocytes in 2005, World’s Second pregnancy with freezing IVM in 2007 and First ovarian transplant in Latin America in 2013
