He is a Member of the board of directors of the Spanish Society of Radiology SERAM (2008-2012), and Member of the research committee of the European Society of Radiology ECR (2008-2012), Musculoskeletal Editor of the journal Radiología (Spanish Journal of Radiology) (2006-2010). He is Section Editor of Musculoskeletal Essential Radiology SERAM.
