Luis A. Diaz MD

Dr. Diaz is a renowned academician educated at the University of Trujillo School of Medicine in Peru. He trained in dermatology at the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and autoimmunity research at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He has served as a faculty member at the University of Michigan, Johns Hopkins University, Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine (UNC-SOM) and Chairman of the Departments of Dermatology at MCW (1989-1999) and UNC-SOM (2000 to 2016). He has trained over fifty research fellows from the USA and several countries (Spain, France, Germany, England, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Egypt, India, China, and Japan).
