Ludhmila Hajjar MD, PhD

Dr. Ludhmila Abrahao Hajjar, MD, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the University of Sao Paulo. She graduated in medicine from the University of Brasilia (UnB), and she specializes in Cardiology, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. She had the honor of integrating an important work on covid-19, published in the prestigious scientific journal Annals of Intensive Care, in addition to being awarded the Women in Science award by the University of São Paulo (USP). She has published more than 200 articles in indexed journals, and four books, she is a defender of the Unified Health System (SUS) and of science.
