Luckhana Lawtrakul MSc

Dr. Luckhana Lawtrakul is an Associate Professor in the School of Bio-Chemical Engineering and Technology at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand, where she has been a faculty member since 2002. She completed her B.Sc. in Chemistry and M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry at Kasetsart University, Thailand, followed by a Dr.rer.nat. in Theoretical Biochemistry from the University of Vienna, Austria. Dr. Lawtrakul’s research interests center on computer-aided molecular modeling, molecular design, and structure–activity relationships, with applications that include the study of cyclodextrin inclusion complexes for drug solubility enhancement and molecular dynamics simulations in computational chemistry.

She has supervised multiple graduate theses and contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications investigating host–guest interactions, molecular docking, and theoretical studies of complex chemical systems, demonstrating a sustained commitment to interdisciplinary chemical research and education. Dr. Lawtrakul also actively engages with the broader scientific community as an invited speaker at international chemistry conferences, representing SIIT and her field on global research platforms.
